South Pointe High School
Science Club

Hi. You've reached the once and future home of the South Pointe High School Science Club. After a short four year break (for a trip to the beach), we're back with a new crop of mathematical students, arithmatic field trips and projects, and really amazingballs experiences for all our membership...

We're still figuring out the details, but we know it will include some River Pathways training at the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center; Bureau of Land Management training at the Agua Fria National Monument; Forestry training in the Tonto National Forest ; and Parklands training in the South Mountain Park and Preserve , including creating another NatureQuest ( like this one

In addition, our old standbys adventures will include: a special tour of the T-Gen Research Facility, which also offers an biotechnology internship program; the Arizona Mills IMAX and Aquarium; the Arizona Game and Fish Department's Youth Day; turtle rescue at the Phoenix Zoo; and maybe participation in the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AZEF), tentatively scheduled for April 1-3.
